Potter along the backwaters of London on an easy-going jaunt to the pub, or flex your adventure muscles on a two-day kayaking and wild camping excursion in Cornwall.
The Self Guided Kayak Adventure from Richmond

Pack up a picnic and take a towel with you. A swallows and amazons adventure awaits you!
You will be supplied with buoyancy aids, which must be worn on all of our activities, beautifully stable touring kayaks, paddles and a dry bag for your needs. A guide will provide a socially distanced briefing before you journey into the Back of Beyond…. You may paddle between the iconic Richmond Bridge and Teddington Lock. Take the time to explore the islands and riverside jungle as you go.
Equipment is cleaned between every session.

What’s better than a kayak adventure along the Thames? A kayak adventure with Lunch at The White Swan along the Thames!!
Of course you don’t have to stop for Lunch, but allowing 3 hours for your adventure means that you can take your time and enjoy a leisurely stop here or along the riverside with a picnic.

Please note: for the larger paddler these craft will sit much lower in the water making them less stable and wetter.
A self guided adventure for the smaller paddler and children, the Sit On Top Kayak Adventure is a great way of getting into outside spaces and to explore a little closer to home.
Our sit on top (SOT) kayaks are a great way to get you closer to the water. With the sun shining, get dressed to get wet and take to the Thames for a fun filled paddle with friends and family

The 5 hour Self Guided Kayak Adventure on the Thames
Duration: 5 hours
Departure point: River Lane, Petersham
Cost: £70pp
* Minimum of 2 people for safety reasons
For when 2.5 hours is simply not enough time..
Hop aboard our stable, traditional, single seat touring kayaks for a fun and sociable kayak trip along the River Thames. Suitable for all abilities, our friendly instructors will guide you through the basics before you launch for an easy-going paddle to an 18th Century fishermen’s pub or a stop at the riverside.
Dip into the history of the Thames as you paddle past Eel Pie and Swan Islands, before mooring up at The Anglers in Teddington – a thriving, family-friendly Fuller’s pub where you can sip real ales and tuck into a gourmet meal. Hunker by the fireside or bask in the sunny garden before drifting back to Petersham. Alternatively, pack up a blanket and some of your favourite food and drink for a riverside picnic to remember. You can take the plunge for a wild swim if you’re feeling brave.
Eel Pie Island Kayak Trip from Richmond - Guided Adventure
Duration: 2.5 hours
Departure point: River Lane, Petersham
Cost: £60 per person
This scenic and sociable Guided Adventure is a firm favourite and is suitable for all. Particularly for people who simply cannot persuade friends or family to join them on the water, but really want to paddle!
Kayak on the Thames and paddle around Eel Pie Island, stopping for a mid-point BYO pint and snack at the riverside or at The White Swan, Twickenham.
Suitable for all abilities, this easy-going paddle passes through idyllic Surrey countryside as you ‘ride with the tide’ With a pit stop along the way, you’ll spend some time enjoying conversations with new friends, and old, before drifting back downstream to your start point at River Lane.
Sunset Kayak Adventure from Richmond - Guided Adventure
Duration: 2.5 hours
