Moving bookings, cancellations and refunds

  1. Up to 14 days prior to your activity date you can cancel an existing booking and receive a full refund. You can also amend your booking free of charge. In the event of a booking being previously moved or changed within 14 days of the activity but subsequently attempted to be cancelled, where the revised date is greater than 14 days prior, the companies 48 hour refund and cancellation process (2) will take precedence.

  2. Up to 48 hours prior to your booking, a refund will not be possible. You can move the activity date, if there is availability, or be credited with a gift voucher valid for 3 months. This will incur a £5 administration charge. Any requests to move or cancel must be made by contacting the Customer Care team.

  3. Within 48 hours of the booking date, if Back of Beyond Adventures are operational, you will not be entitled to move your booking, or receive any refunds for cancellations. 

  4. Should Back of Beyond Adventures feel it’s necessary to cancel your booking for reasons beyond their control (including fast and high flowing rivers, high winds and lightning storms*), it shall use reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as possible. You will be offered alternative times or dates to return and supplied with a voucher to use towards booking within the current season. In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund, in part or whole and no other compensation shall be payable. *In all other weather conditions, we operate as normal and standard conditions apply.

  5. Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card or, if the card has subsequently expired, by cheque. Payments made by Gift Voucher will be refunded to the same voucher code.

  6. Where multiple forms of payment are used (e.g. Gift voucher and card payment), Back of Beyond Adventures reserves the right to refund any monies due on a refund or amendment onto the Gift Voucher used in part payment.
